How long have you been working in real estate?

25 years.

What is your proudest moment in real estate?

I will never forget the day I had reached the $1 million mark in total sales volume. I was so proud of myself.

What is a favorite or unique home you have sold?

A few years ago, I had heard that a high-end 11,000 square-foot home on 22 acres in Peters Township was going up for auction. I knew nothing about the auction process. I called the company and they taught me what I needed to know for my buyer clients. Within 24 hours, my clients outbid everyone, and I ended up with a $3.3 million cash sale!

What is your best advice for sellers?

Choose your agent wisely! Make your home as spacious, clean and updated as possible. Write a letter about your home and neighborhood to be displayed.

What is your best advice for buyers?

Get pre-approved first! Look at homes and look at what you can’t change. Interview your agent. It’s a big deal to buy a new home — trust and credibility are important.

What is your advice to other agents?

Don’t slam other agents on social media; it makes our industry look bad. Set daily, monthly, and yearly goals. Keep it in front of you, and keep working, evolving, and educating yourself.

What is your strongest real estate skill?

I’m patient with clients who aren’t experienced in the buying or selling process. I also like to write my clients personal notes and email them interesting articles.

Where are you originally from?

A small town south of Annapolis, Maryland called Riva.

What do you love most about Pittsburgh?

The size of the city. There is so much to discover and experience.

What was your career before real estate?

I was a stay-at-home mom of two beautiful children living in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. I also worked in the cost-accounting department of a manufacturing firm in Baltimore.

What is your favorite Pittsburgh restaurant, and why?

My favorite restaurant is Lucchesi’s. It’s truly like time stood still…you feel like Dean Martin.

What is one of your hobbies?

I enjoy helping at the Christian Outreach Center in Washington, PA. I enjoy going on “field trips” with my husband to look at and walk grounds for clients who are interested in building new homes.

Where can we find you on the weekends?

Doing what I love to do: working with my clients, and spending time with my husband and family.

What’s something we may not know about you?

I was raised as a southern baptist, and am now taking catholicism classes.
